Hui Chen is on the faculty of the Department of Computer and Information Science, Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and on the doctoral faculty of the Ph.D. Program in Computer Science, the Graduate School and University Center of the City University of New York. His current research is on a few problems in software engineering, wireless networks, wireless sensor networks, and system and network security. He has been teaching courses in software development, computer networks, computer security, and web programming among others. He is a senior member of IEEE and a member of ACM. He served and has been serving on technical program committees of conferences sponsored by IEEE or ACM.
